About us

Deaf Cricket Society (DCS) is a non-profit voluntary organization under Societies registration act of 1860 and also registered under the act of 1995 for the persons with disabilities (equal opportunities, protection of rights & full participation).  It is solely dedicated to serve the cause of persons with disabilities.

DCS was founded in April 2012 and its area of operation is across the entire the country. Since the inception, the society is directing its sincere efforts towards enhancing physical mobility and residual capabilities of differently abled and integrate them into the mainstream of the society through several welfare activities and the game of cricket.

DCS – Deaf Cricket Society is the Apex Body Governing, promoting and organizing Cricket for the deaf in India and has 24 state level associations and over 30,000 players affiliated at various domestic cricket level tournaments in India. DCS is also affiliated to Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA).

DCS organizes tournaments at School, Associations, District, Women, State, Zonal, National and international levels. It helps the local bodies to organize local level tournaments to spot talent, develop teams of coaches, physiotherapists, trainers, umpires and other team support personnel.

We are determined to bring deaf cricketers to mainstream cricket fraternity as per the provisions of “The Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”.
